Booking a regular class
It is really beneficial for your child to come to a regular weekly class with the same teacher, and get to know the children in the class. You can join anytime in the term if there is space in your preferred class. If you haven't already done so, please book a free trial with the office(ONE free trial per child). After your trial, you may book that class or another one, if there is space.
Click Here for full class listings in Clapham, Balham, Battersea, Wandsworth, Southfields, Streatham, Wimbledon and Dulwich Village.
Fees
If you block-book for the rest of term, the fee is calculated at £7.50 (or £11 for siblings or if you're attending twice weekly) per class from start date to the end of term (phone us for correct amount).
Remember you can 'catch-up' classes you miss (at other less-full classes). Please phone the office for availability at least a day in advance.
Drop-in Classes
Occasionally it is possible to attend drop-in classes, but not at the most popular times and venues. It is too disruptive to the class to administer too many drop-ins, and it is much better for the children to have consistency and form a bond with the teacher and other children in a regular class. For those reasons, most people book and pay for the whole term (or remainder of term), (and it’s cheaper!) However, if you can’t commit to a whole term, a few classes have space for drop-ins, but you must check with the office each time you wish to attend (i.e. every class!) and book at least a day in advance, in case the class is too full – otherwise you will be turned away!
Drop-in classes are more expensive, £8.00 per class, or £12.00 for two siblings (and will increase in price next term).
No joining fee Unlike many other music classes, we don't ask you for a "joining fee".
Missed Classes If you miss your regular class for any reason, you are welcome to catch it up at another time and venue during the term, but you must check with the office first, and will not be able to catch up a class at one that is already full. Please pre-book your catch-up class with the office at least a day in advance to avoid being turned away.
I have 2 children of different ages. Which class do I bring them to?
We have lots of sets of siblings, etc. For advice please ask, but usually people bring them both to the older age classes.
Siblings younger than 4 months are welcome (always best in a car seat or buggy behind mum out of danger of excitable toddlers).
A sibling rate (£11 for two) is payable once they reach 6 months if attending a class with an older sibling. If siblings are attending seperare classes then babies must be paid for from 4 months. However most come together to the older age-range class as the younger siblings are familiar with the older ones and the oldest needs more stimulation and you can focus on the younger one.
Can I come more than once per week? Some of our little ones love our classes so much that they book 2 sessions per week. Reduced rate £11 per week for 2 sessions.
My Child is younger than 4 months, but I think that they are ready
You are very welcome to bring your child to a class to see if they enjoy it and we do have several children younger than 4 months who attend. Phone the office for advice and availability. |
